Thanks for talking about the contract offer. The news stories I read and saw on TV show how little research the reporters did on their stories. One felt like they were reading a press release from the studio versus giving realistic view of what was being given to the WGA.

Glad to hear your pilot with ABC is getting support from the King fans.

Keep up the great work and podcasts.

Hi there. You guys did it. I originally tuned into the podcasts for the plot: how do you do screenwriting, are you getting hired and how/why, etc. But by now, you 2 as characters, are more interesting than the plot. And I love your love for Battlestar. Best show on TV. I imagine it would have been neat to be in the Coliseum with Ron Moore, Shawn Ryan, and Neal Bear.

Hang tough with the strike. And keep making your mother proud. I was once in EW too and it made a bunch of my friends proud but I will need to be in People before mom gets excited by what I do.

    Cheers!

I can't believe they did it again. And to have a press release ready minutes after they walked away from the table. You know it premeditated. What a bunch of scumbags.

I know they have the "pencils 2 moguls" fund but what I want to send my money to right now is a "douche bags 2 Counter" fund.

Cheers and lots of love to you guys while you walk the line because it's not just for you it's for the people that want to be writers, like me.

    Hey!
I've just found this podcast! and I've just listend to the Striking Out episode, i think it's great.

What i really want to know about is the difficulties that faces "UpComing" screenwriters outside America and Europe, like in countries where these things aren't yet so popular, I mean how can hit into the Hollywood world from the Middle East for example!?

    hey Beshr -

This friday we plan to do a podcast I'm really pumped about; our thoughts (and the prevailing wisdom) of making a living writing in this new internet.

    Sounds great!
Keep on the good work guys!

Still listening to you guys and always happy to see an update on my iPod. Looking forward to the next one from this Friday.

I know you guys are focused on the TV writing angle, but you mentioned in some earlier podcast about writing screenplays. Think you guys could do a show where you cover the dos/donts of writing in Hollywood and the pitfalls to watch out for? For someone preparing to make the move out there, I keep hearing about scam artists galore.

    Hey guys,

On one of your upcoming broadcasts could you talk about whether you regret having moved to Hollywood? Was it worth all the sacrifices you and your families have made?

    Thanks!
