Treat yourselves to a new Mercedes or two, what the hell.
Dead Zone, while I've never seen it, seems like a pretty cool show to be on. Perfect for sci-fi heads like yourselves.
The most fascinating part of your story for me has always been how you balance family with work. Thanks for talking some more about that and letting us know just how dark things have gotten for you in the past.
It was a great 'cast as usual and a great inspiration.

Major congrats on your recent successes. I've been listening to your podcast for about a year, and am so encouraged by your determination and work ethic.
I have a question about writing... actually it's about re-writing. Say you've completed your first draft and you know that it can be better, but you just don't quite know how and what to change to make it better. Are there any general guidelines you guys follow when approaching a re-write? And if so, can you let us know what they are? Thanks a mil.

PMC -- I think we'll talk about contests one of these days. It's a big topic we did touch on once, I think, but we'll revisit it.
Tony -- One advantage of being a team is putting two sets of eyes on everything. Things I let slide don't past Sam & vice versa, which is a huge help with rewriting. The very best thing you can do is seek out a writer's group and get feedback. Try Craigslist, universities -- wherever you can think of. It can be very hard to grasp that what you have in your head isn't actually on the page. Sometimes one insight about a character changes your whole script and solves many of your problems at one fell swoop. You get my point. It's just too easy to delude yourself working alone (hell, we delude each other sometimes...)
Good luck.

I can’t help but feel bad, though, that this is probably the death knell for your second “writers workshop about being a man podcast. It would have been great working with you guys.
Still, I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again…you guys have been an inspiration, and you’ve helped me get back into writing, and that has helped me get some small writing gigs. So for that I’ll always be thankful.
